Thank you for your interest in Cresta Blava, located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  This part of the world is very special to us and whether you are coming from 50 miles away, 500 miles away, or 5000 miles away we think you will fall in love with the area as we did.  We love the beauty of the mountains, the Shenandoah River that meanders through the area, and the peaceful, rolling farmland that surrounds us.  Luray is a charming little town where you can shop, enjoy a nice meal, or engage in the active arts scene. The people are very friendly and eager to welcome you here.

Our cabin has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and can accommodate up to six people.  You will find a nicely-equipped kitchen, a hot tub, WiFi, a large rec room and many other amenities to make your stay comfortable.  The cabin is located on a gorgeous wooded lot, surrounded by trees, breathtaking views, and plenty of wildlife.

We are Keith and Sandi Weakley.  Keith was born and raised in Page County and has lived here his entire life other than while attending Virginia Tech.  His mother says the first structure he built with his Lego’s was a bridge … and his love of bridges has never wavered.  He currently works for a consultant in Northern Virginia where he continues to design bridges and other structures.

Sandi was raised in Waynesboro Virginia and moved to Page County after marrying Keith in 2007.  Unlike Keith, Sandi moved around quite a bit, including nearly 10 years in Southern California, and several years in Richmond Virginia and Northern Virginia.  Sandi retired after 27 years in Human Resources and is currently enjoying being the library director at a local library  and overseeing the beginnings of Cresta Blava.

Speaking of Cresta Blava … isn’t that an unusual name?  It actually means “Blue Ridge” in Catalan.  Keith and Sandi visited Andora and Catalonia a few years ago and found the language interesting, so decided to use it in naming the cabin. It is their hope you enjoy the Blue Ridge (Cresta Blava) and will return often!
